Roaming Troubleshooting
If you have already set up global roaming and you're currently overseas but it's still not working then here are some tips to help get your internet running
Double check your roaming pack
Visit Roaming Destinations to check that you have the correct roaming add-on for your destination. If your desired destination is not listed in the available roaming packs then you will be charged casual rates.
Login to My Slingshot Mobile to make sure that your roaming add-on has not run out of available data or credit.
Turn the Wi-Fi off
For Android: In Settings, click on Connections. Then switch off the WiFi button.
For IOS: In Settings, click on WiFi. Then switch off the WiFi button.

I'm roaming and my phone is blocked. What can I do?
There are no reasons why we would block your mobile while you are roaming overseas. The most likely cause of your service not working is that you have run out of minutes or texts included in your add-on.
If you still have credit on your phone but can’t access any services, then you can contact us from anywhere overseas by ringing +649 915 7575 - bear in mind that this will be an international call to a New Zealand landline, so charges may apply.
From 28 October, all 3G networks in Australia are due to shutdown. If your phone is not up-to-date and VoLTE roaming capable, you won't be able to use voice services while roaming. If you find that your device is still blocked after you have enabled VoLTE – give us a call on +64 2 2046 4295.
If you’re trying to roam overseas while your phone is not VoLTE capable, you won’t be able to call or text on your phone.
