What are Slingshot's DNS addresses?
This page will give an overview of what the DNS servers are we use at Slingshot.
Why do I need the Slingshot DNS address?
Knowing the DNS (Domain Name System) servers of your ISP can be useful for several reasons:
- Troubleshooting Internet Issues
- Improving Speed and Performance
- Enhanced Privacy and Security
What are Slingshots DNS addresses?
Our DNS Servers are:
IPv4 address:
- Preferred DNS Server: 202.180.64.10
- Alternate DNS Server: 202.180.64.11
IPv6 address:
- Preferred DNS Server: 2402:8200::1
- Alternate DNS Server: 2402:8200::2
Changing the DNS in modems we supply
Before proceeding we recommend that someone familiar with DNS technology assists if you are not familiar with it.
Changing DNS (Domain Name System) settings can have wide-reaching effects on how users and systems access websites, services, and internal resources. A misconfiguration can lead to service outages, security vulnerabilities, or loss of access to critical systems.

- Login into your router to see how to do this.
- Once you have log into your router click Internet.
- For ADSL: Click DSL, for VDSL: VDSL10 or for Fibre: ETHWAN10.
- Click More Options and manually enter in the IP addresses.

- Log into the router – see here for how to do this
- Click on Internet
- Account information
- Click the DNS Server
- Enter 202.180.64.10 in Preferred and 202.180.64.11 in the Alternative
- Click apply.
