This page will assist you in understanding the APN settings to get online with Slingshot Mobile.

 

 

APN Settings for Slingshot Mobile 

APN (Access Point Name) settings define how your mobile device connects to your carrier’s network for internet and multimedia messaging (MMS).

If you need help with knowing where to enter these settings, please refer to your device manuals.

You will need to create these access points:

Internet settings

  1. Leave the username and password fields blank
  2. APN: internet

Set up photo and video messages (MMS)

  1. Leave the username and password fields blank
  2. APN: mms
  3. MMSC: http://mms.2degreesmobile.net.nz:48090
  4. MMS proxy: 118.148.1.118
  5. MMS port: 8080
  6. Leave the MMS max message size as default size
  7. Leave the MMS UA Prof URL field blank
