What do the lights on my modem mean?
This page will assist you with understanding what the lights on your modem mean.
Why is it important to know what the lights do?
The lights on a modem are crucial indicators of its operational status and can help users quickly identify and troubleshoot connectivity issues. Each LED light typically represents a specific function—such as power, internet connection, Wi-Fi signal, or LAN activity—and knowing what each light means allows users to determine whether their Slingshot connection is active, if Wi-Fi is broadcasting correctly, or if devices are properly connected to the local network. Understanding these signals can save time and reduce frustration when diagnosing problems, especially during outages or setup.
