Important Instructions Before Testing

To ensure accurate results:

• Close all other apps using the internet (e.g. chat, file-sharing, browser tabs).
• Disconnect other devices from the router—only the testing PC should be connected.

Testing your speed

Our speed test tool is the most accurate way to measure the performance of your Slingshot broadband. We encourage all our customers to use it, especially if you are experiencing speed-related issues. The data we gain helps Slingshot further improve our network and when speaking to one of our technical helpers, it can help identify what might be the problem. Lastly, on the odd occasion we need to escalate a problem to Chorus, they will accept speed test results only from our network - not a third party.
